A powerful and captivating modern musical, Parade retells the true story of Leo Frank, a Brooklyn-born Jewish Factory manager, who was accused of raping and murdering a thirteen-year-old girl in Atlanta, Georgia.
With the tensions between North and South as a prominent backdrop, this musical portrays the harrowing story of a man who is made an outcast because of his beliefs and origin, and he and his wife’s struggle against prejudice and sensationalism to prove his innocence.
Alfred Uhry's book (Driving Miss Daisy) and Jason Robert Brown's musical (The Last Five Years) both won Tony Awards and will both change the way you view musical theatre. Both Uhry and Brown have utilised the elements of musical theatre to create a story which will immerse, captivate and move audiences.
