The auditions for Crazy for You are now just around the corner. Auditions are being held from 10am on January 31. Everyone auditioning for the show is asked to attend the dance audition commencing at 10:00am sharp at:
Dance Encore Studios
100 Queen Victoria Street, Bexley
Don't be worried - it is going to be fun and is really just to give the choreoghrapher an idea of the levels she will be working with. All levels of dancers - and non dancers - are welcome.

Singing for chorus and principal roles will follow. Those looking at principal roles will also have one or two scenes to read. If you would like a copy of any of these, or to book a time, please , Lloyd King, or give him a call on 0419 974 796.

Crazy for You is big dance show, so we also welcome dancers that are not interested in singing. And if you are interested in singing, but don't particularly want to appear on stage, we are looking for a team of Pit Singers to sing back stage.

Parade (book by Alfred Uhry, musical and lyrics by Jason Robert Brown) won the 1998 Tony Awards for Best Book of a Musical, and Best Original Musical Score. If you're interested in being involved in the production team for Parade, please contact the committee.

The half-yearly general meeting is being held this Wednesday, at the Beverly Hills public school from 8pm. All members are invited to attend. The production teams for our 2010 February and May shows, as well as the title of our 2010 October show, will be announced.

The orientation for Spamalot was held last night. If you weren't able to make it along, but would still like to audition to be involved in the show you should read the Spamalot orientation sheets, and then contact to organise an audition booking time or for more information.

Bye Bye Birdie opens this Friday, so make sure you've booked your tickets for the show. In case you missed it, we had a great article in The Leader (the original hardcopy version is here), as well as an article in the Sydney Morning Herald with an accompanying audio slide show. They make great reading!

The auditions for Sweeney Todd are on this Sunday (October 26) at Coronation Hall (23 Barden Street, Arncliffe). See the Sweeney Orientation Sheet for information about the show and available roles, and then to book an audition time. Remember, first round auditions are only open to Regals' current and previous members.

The orientation for The Regals' next show Sweeney Todd is on this Wednesday, 15 October, at The Rockdale Town Hall from 8:30pm. The first round of auditions will be open to all current and previous members of The Regals. If you're not a member, come along anyway to find out more and register your expression of interest. The first round of auditions will be held on Sunday, 26 October and the show's performances will be held in the last weekend of February 2009.

The much-anticipated audition results for the Wizard of Oz are now available. The results sheet lists all the roles cast, as well as the few outstanding roles still to be allocated. Thank you to everyone who took the time to audition, the calibre of auditionees was consistently excellent and we regret that were unable to cast everyone in their desired role. This is going to be a very high quality production and loads of fun!

The opening weekend of Buddy went fantastically, with great reviews from many people in the audience. Tickets for the final weekend are starting to sell fast, so make sure you book now so that you won't miss out! There's still tickets available to all our shows, with some great seats on the Friday show still available.

Flyers are available for Buddy which you can download and print yourself. The flyers can be downloaded in either colour or black and white. If you want the flyer to fill up a full A4 page make sure you select 'Fit to Printable Area' from the print options window. You will need Adobe Acrobat to view and print the files.

The half-yearly meeting for The Regals has been moved to Wednesday, 11 June 2007, to avoid clashes with the State of Origin. The meeting will be held at the Church of Christ in Rockdale, and will begin at 8pm.
