"Tragedy tomorrow, comedy tonight!" Broadway's greatest farce is light, fast-paced, witty, irreverent, and one of the funniest musicals ever written - the perfect escape from life's troubles. Forum is a non-stop laugh-a-thon in which a crafty slave Pseudolus struggles to win the hand of a beautiful but slow-witted courtesan Philia for his young master Hero, in exchange for freedom. With unforgettable zany characters, a hysterical script, and witty songs, Forum is a really fun show to do for cast, crew and audience. There are 9 principles, a group of wacky Proteans, and some sexy courtesans.
This was Robert Mason's first show as Director.
Presented by arrangement with Warner Chappell, Australian Agents for Music Theatre International.
